Frequently asked questions about Payit?
Are you looking for an answer to your question? You'll probably find it below. Still not found? Give us a call!
Are you now organizing a large festival or a local food festival? As a sports club a home game or as a school your annual school party? What you really don't want is for people to be present who have not paid for their ticket.
For safety reasons, you want to avoid allowing too many people and you want the financial picture to be correct at the end of the day.
You create your event (activity) in Payit and activate the "ticket sales" module.
You create your products (=tickets) and check "is ticket".
Everyone who purchases tickets receives a confirmation email with a PDF. This is their E-ticket that is provided with a unique QR code.
Ordered multiple tickets? Then the PDF contains multiple pages, each with a unique QR code.
During the event, you can grant access alone or with others by scanning the QR codes.
In your dashboard you have a real-time overview of all scanned and non-scanned tickets.
No. As an organizer, you first download the QR code of the event in your Payit account.
You have this QR code scanned from your smartphone by everyone who will scan tickets. As an organizer, you can also choose to print this QR code and hang it up if, for example, multiple people will scan the tickets.
Everyone who scans this QR code will start a secure session in their browser. During this session, you have the authorization to scan tickets.
Make sure everyone who scans has a stable network connection.
Are you doing this inside a concrete building? Then there is a chance that your 4G or 5G will not work properly.
Make sure you can scan your tickets outside or provide your own stable Wifi connection. Are you organizing a large event with long queues? Keep in mind that many people in line will be on their smartphone and will burden the network. Provide your own stable Wifi connection.
By activating the "Number of available spots" module, you can set limits. You can limit at the level of your total event and at the level of your tickets. When the maximum number of tickets is ordered, the sale will automatically close.
When you choose a package, you have the option to pass on the ticket cost to your customers. This will then be displayed as a ticket contribution. In the pay-as-use formula, this is not possible.
